This study examines how Political Science curricula in Indian higher education institutions contribute to developing a politically aware and active citizenry. The research explores the effectiveness of various pedagogical approaches, including interactive teaching methods, experiential learning, and the integration of digital tools, in enhancing students' understanding of democratic principles and their application in real-world contexts.

Through qualitative and quantitative analyses, the study investigates the impact of Political Science education on students' attitudes towards democracy, their participation in civic activities, and their overall political efficacy. Data is collected from a diverse sample of students across multiple universities, using surveys, interviews, and focus groups. The findings suggest that students exposed to comprehensive Political Science education are more likely to exhibit a strong commitment to democratic values, participate in community and political activities, and advocate for social justice and policy reforms.

Furthermore, the research highlights the challenges and opportunities within the Indian educational framework, including the need for curriculum reforms and the integration of contemporary political issues to make Political Science education more relevant and engaging. The study concludes with recommendations for educators, policymakers, and institutions to enhance the role of Political Science education in shaping a vibrant and participatory democracy in India.

By examining the nexus between education and civic engagement, this study underscores the pivotal role of Political Science in preparing the next generation of informed and active citizens, capable of contributing to the democratic process and societal development in India.

माधवी पांडे Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://edupublications.com/index.php/ejiar/article/view/81 Wed, 03 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Computational Studies on Reaction Mechanisms of Transition Metal Complexes https://edupublications.com/index.php/ejiar/article/view/82
This study delves into the computational analysis of reaction mechanisms involving transition metal complexes. Bladder cancer, the ninth most common cancer globally, was estimated to have 430,000 new cases in 2012 and ranks as the sixth most common cancer among men. The textile industry, a major global sector, exposes workers to numerous chemicals including dyes, solvents, optical brighteners, and both natural and synthetic fiber dusts, which can adversely affect their health. Many of these substances have been identified as mutagenic and carcinogenic. Continuous exposure to these chemicals underscores the need to assess cancer risk at various job levels within the textile industry to evaluate overall risk and develop effective cancer prevention strategies.
Arunkumari.
