Maternal Healthcare Accessibility and Infrastructure in Haryana: A Geographic Perspective

Maternal healthcare accessibility is a crucial determinant of safe childbirth and improved neonatal outcomes. This review-based study examines the spatial distribution of public health infrastructure in Haryana and analyzes its implications for maternal healthcare utilization and birth outcomes. Drawing upon secondary data from government reports of 2025, the study evaluates the availability of Community Health Centres (CHCs), Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Sub-Centres, civil hospitals, and bed strength across districts. The findings reveal that Haryana possesses a relatively extensive public health network; however, significant geographic disparities persist in the distribution of facilities and institutional capacity.

Medical negligence, now days have become one of the serious issues in India. Our experience tells us that medical profession, one of the noblest professions, is not immune to negligence which at times results in death of patient or complete / partial impairment of limbs, or culminates into another misery. There are instances wherein most incompetent or ill/under educated doctors, on their volition, have made prey the innocent patients. The magnitude of negligence or deliberate conduct of the medical professionals has many times led to litigation. The present paper aims to analyze the concept of negligence in medical profession in the light of interpretation of law by the Supreme Court of India.

Barriers to Sports Participation among Female Students

Many studies have demonstrated that involvement in sports improves children's health, mental health, leadership skills, and social abilities. However, female students frequently confront a variety of impediments that prevent them from actively participating in sporting activities. The current study looks on the barriers to sports engagement among female students using data obtained during the North Zone Inter-University Cricket Tournament at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak. The study involved 50 female respondents (N = 50), including participants, spectators, and volunteers. Data were acquired using a standardized questionnaire with a
five-point Likert scale.
