Teachers' Perceptions of NEP 2020 and Classroom Implementation: An Empirical Study

Abstract

The NEP 2020 is a transformative reform agenda focused on enhancing the quality, inclusiveness and effectiveness of school education in India at the learner-centred approach, competency-based approach, multi disciplinary approach, and continuous training of teachers. The teachers are the main actors in translating policy into class practice and therefore it is critical to consider their perception and experience in the assessment of the effectiveness of NEP implementation.
