Abstract

Ecocide has emerged as a significant concept within environmental jurisprudence, reflecting growing global concern over severe and widespread environmental destruction. The term “ecocide” generally refers to acts or omissions that cause extensive damage, destruction, or loss of ecosystems, thereby severely diminishing the peaceful enjoyment of the environment by present and future generations.
