Evaluating the Impact of the National Food Security Act (NFSA), 2013 on Hunger Eradication in India
Abstract
The National Food Security Act (NFSA), 2013 is one of the world’s largest rights-based social protection interventions, aimed at ensuring access to adequate food for approximately two-thirds of India’s population. This paper evaluates the impact of the NFSA on hunger eradication in India, examining coverage, affordability, administrative design, inclusion–exclusion dynamics, and nutritional outcomes.
