Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper uses a deterministic inventory model to study the deteriorating items using biquadratic demand, linear
deterioration rate, and constant holding cost. Shortages are not allowed. An analytical solution is derived to
minimize the total cost. Numerical examples are provided to validate the applicability of the model. Furthermore,
sensitivity analysis examines the effect of changes in various parameters
